

ozzy has been sleeping 5 hours in the first leg of the night instead of 7-8 hours the past 3 nights. i wonder if he is having a growth spurt and needs to feed more often or if he is slowly changing his sleep hours. his previous schedule had been to sleep 7-8 hours, feed, sleep 1.5 hours, feed, sleep 1.5 hours, feed and wake for the day. now it's sleep 5 hours, feed, sleep 4.5 hours, feed, sleep 1.5 hours, wake for the day.
BTW Operation: Slumber Party has not been a successful mission. (i read that if you've been sleep deprived, when you finally do get sleep your brain tries to catch up on all the REM sleep that it missed...that was very true. the first two nights i got more solid sleep, it was all packed with crazy dreams) anyway, i have been trying to get to bed at a decent hour but am not doing so well w/that. so instead, i figured i'll try getting on the treadmill instead sleeping tonight. i got on it for an hour tonight and it was great to just blast some old favs on my ipod and get some exercise. i was listening to: Burning Down the House (talking heads were TOTALLY underrated in their day), A Letter to Elise- the cure (that song always makes my heart ache...every time i try to pick it up like falling sand as fast i pick it up it runs away thru my clutching hands), Bring on the Dancing Horses - echo and the bunnymen, Stop Me if You Think That You've Heard This One Before - the smiths, Kiss them for me - siouxie and the banshees, Under the Milky Way Tonight - the church, and much more. it was really awesome to just play those tunes that i hadnt heard in YEARS.
