Racer X with Allergies

the pollen this year must be something.  rob started off the spring feeling like he'd gotten sick with a bad cold again (and again needing me to remind him that maybe it's allergies and not a cold).  and ozzy, poor thing, this past week, his little face puffed out like he'd been in a boxing match and lost badly.  it started a little over a week ago, we went to preschool and his teacher brought in maple seeds for the kids to investigate and throw around and watch as they spun their way down like mini helicopters.  immediately after, ozzy's eyes became irritated.  a week later, he was so red and puffy, the inner membrane of his eyes will so inflamed and swollen, they were literally swelling out of his eyes. the quick trip to the pediatrician with the advice to stay indoors if we can, dont open windows, wash frequently.  medications, over the counter childrens zyrtec (generic cetirizine), over the counter antihistamine eye drops (i bought Zaditor, which says...
