while on our way to korean school this morning, mimi was saying she was tired and rob and i were explaining to her that if she went to bed earlier at night she would be more rested in the morning and not feel so tired.
mimi says, "but i dont want to go to bed. do you know why i always dont want to go to bed? it's because i have bad dreams about scary things, like spooky ghosts, and lobsters, and scary people."
rob and i quietly giggled over the remark about the lobsters. i started to think about the kid from the movie Sixth Sense and how his mom didnt believe he could really see dead people. maybe mimi really sees zombie lobsters. i dont know. at any rate, lobsters are pretty freaky creatures in and of themselves, and so i can see why she is scared of them. when i see a lobster though, the only thing that scares me is the market value...if they didnt taste so good and we weren't at the top of the food chain, i might feel differently though.
