my friend sasha alerted me to some korean bbq place named Kaya, asking if there was something i wanted to fess up to. curious, i googled kaya and restaurants and found quite a few korean restaurants by that name. here's what i unearthed.
Kaya is the name of an ancient kingdom, which was founded in 42 AD, in the southern part of Korea. Kaya developed its unique cultural identity as an iron centre, and it lasted for more than seven hundred years. Kaya also carried its power, trade and influence southward from the Korean Peninsula to Japan. Its craftsmanship was greatly renowned.
so, no dog references. still it's funny that we named our dog the same name as a korean bbq restaurant.

I'm sure the connection between Kaya and BBQ pleases Rob to no end.
