note to self: never plan a beach vacation with 21 people just prior to your first born child's first day of kindergarten.
while the OBX beach vacay was fantastic (despite several rainy, or as mimi calls them 'gloomy', days), it's always such a treat to be able to spend so many days with my loved ones. but coming back... that's hard. our house looks like it threw up. i dont think there's an inch of clear space anywhere as everything got unloaded and is slowly trying to make their way back to where they belong. and starting school immediately after returning hasnt helped that cause any. nor has ozzy's interest in throwing things and then giggling with the pleasure of sending something flying a few feet or so. but i think this disaster of a home is fitting...it is the outer manifestation of my inner turmoil.
