I lately have noticed that one positive developing lately with mimi has been that her eating habits have improved. she is more likely to eat all her dinner and try new foods. the fussiness seems to be waning. now, if only we can get rob to enjoy eating his veggies too! (i made him a garden salad w/grilled chicken for lunch the other day, and he told me i took all the enjoyment out of his meals. in the meantime mimi is sitting there devouring all the veggies out of her salad.)
since i have finally figured out how to use the movie editing features on my mac, rob has tasked me with editing some footage from the past several months (including halloween and our cruise. mimi saw the cruise footage loading and told me she would love to go back on another cruise.)
as i was watching the video i saw on the tail end was some very very old footage, more than 2 years old, of mimi when she is a little older than a year and a half. rob is taping and i'm taking her pictures. she's toddling around and occasionally biting down on her finger and fussing b/c her back molars are coming in. she looks like such a little baby still in this, that i thought i'd load this up since it's a neat little flashback to a time when she was still so little. she is so different now! i also found another video, not sure how old she was when this was taken though. but obviously it was after she was potty trained b/c she is not wearing any diapers.
in this video she is conducting to a collection of instruments while standing on her stacking blocks, which she discovered stuck to her sweaty little feet when she stood on them, so she could also walk on them like stilts. she also seems to be consoling someone who is sad, hence the words "awwww. come here sweetie pie"
